The week on earth in picture and rhyme

If you looked down on the world this week what would you have seen?
Brilliance, stupidity, comedy, trajedy and everything in between

New Mazda's recalled for having spiders running about

American football, the NFL, may see a lockout

Ben&Jerry give Jimmy Fallon his own flavor

Pope says jews are not responsible for crucifixion

20yrs later Rodney King ticketed, may have car/cop addiction

HS basketball player dies after game winning shot secures perfect season

Threats in the Ivory Coast close down their free press
Prince sued by his own lawyers in bill default mess

Libya holding Dutch sailors they caught

Civil war apparently still being fought

fired workers burn indian executive alive
Aguilera and boyfriend arrested after drunk drive

These seven days saw a little of everything
I wonder what the next seven will bring
As always, If I Were God appreciates comments, ad-clicks and sharing of His articles.
He sees all; disappoint Him not.

  1. It was so shocking and sad re: the h.s. basketball player collapsing and dying.

    Whydja do it, God? Huh?

And no way, no how am I gonna click on the kiddie porn article...I've got enough malware probs in my life!

    hee hee

  2. God, it seems that you have neglected one line about something of joy that has happened. Surely, there are events, even a line or two, that would bring a smile rather than a frown. Something cheerful like "baby boy born in the back of a truck. Same place mom and dad used to like to .... play gin rummy. See what I mean?

  3. "Fired workers burn executive." Now that's the kind of stuff we need to see happening to the Wall Street executives who torched our economy. ;)

  4. Yeah, that high school basketball story was by far the most tragic of the week. Try making sense of that one.

  5. Too many unexplainable and undeserved trajedies all over, and it's always been this way. But as I always say, If I Were God...

  6. No more rhyming! And I mean it.

  7. Anybody want a peanut?
Tina, I didn't know you were reading. Glad you decided to chime in.
TINA G everybody, schooling me with a Fessik quote from The Princess Bride.
